We couldn’t be more excited about the products we’re launching through our partnership with Smithsonian.

When I first heard that we were going to partner with Smithsonian, I was ecstatic. Who wouldn’t be excited about getting to work with the largest museum and research complex in the world?

The Smithsonian is vast. Before I started working on this project, I had no idea that there were so many museums, archives, and libraries under the Smithsonian name and that they are at the forefront of cutting-edge science and technological discoveries. I just thought of the Hope Diamond or the Space Shuttle Discovery.

When we started to crack the surface of what was really available within the Smithsonian libraries, museums, and archives we were blown away. Where should we start?

We did extensive market research and decided to start with some very cool archives:Trade Literature and the Merchandizing of IndustryandWorld’s Fairs and Expositions: Visions of Tomorrow. Right now, people are working frantically, day and night, to select, conserve, and digitize the materials so that they are available to libraries everywhere this spring.
