The United States Jiu-Jitsu Federation is holding the Orlando Jiu-Jitsu Cup on Saturday, October 14, 2006.

Cost: $35 for all participants

Schedule:

• Registration begins at 8 AM.
• Competition begins at 10 AM.

• The children’s division will be run first, followed by women’s and then men’s.

  Children’s divisions: ages 8-10, 11-13, 14-16 (Medals for children)

  Women’s divison: 1 division, one level, no weight classes (Medals for women)

  Men’s division:

  Weight classes:

• 169 lbs. and below.
• 170-195 lbs.

• 196 lbs. and up.

  There will be three belt divisions: White, blue and purple/brown (medals only).

  There will be an absolute division for men. First place absolute men winners will receive an Atama gold weave gi plus a medal. Second and third place will receive medals.

Marcio “Pe de Pano” Cruz, a Gracie Barra black belt, a world champion in both the Mundials and ADCC, and a current UFC fighter, will be holding a two hour workshop on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 6:30 PM for $30.

Note: Regular class will not be held.
